Aqua Dental Wellness Covid-19 Protocols

First off, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for trusting us with your dental health. during these unprecedented times. We’d like to thank all of our patients for being upfront and honest with us when they are not feeling well or have been in contact with someone who is waiting for their test results back or those who have tested positive for Covid-19. We truly appreciate this, as the health and wellness of all our staff and patients is of the utmost importance to us.

Here at Aqua Dental Wellness, we have taken all the necessary steps and precautions to ensure the safety and health of our patients and staff. Prior to Covid-19, we maintained hospital grade disinfection and sterilization processes and continue to do so along with added SHARP KC-8504 air purifiers in every operatory in the office to ensure clean air after every appointment and Iso-Dry mouth prop suctions to aide with limiting aerosols in the air. We also have a mandatory mask policy in place for all guests and staff while in the office and provide masks for those who don’t have one, as well as a pre-procedural rinse for all patients to help reduce the bacterial and viral load present in the oral cavity prior to any work being performed. The front desk staff are ensuring that all surfaces touched are wiped after every transaction and all of our Dentists, Dental Hygienists, and Dental Assistants are also equipped with level 3 surgical masks, face shields, surgical caps, and gowns for every procedure.

Oral health is extremely important to overall health. We recommend that unless you or someone you have been in contact with is ill, that you keep your dental appointment to maintain your oral health. Treating oral inflammation early will help periodontal disease and may help to manage other chronic conditions. There have been numerous studies showing the link between gum disease and systemic diseases such as cardiovascular issues, heart disease, dementia, Alzheimer’s, stroke, arthritis, diabetes, respiratory infections, oral, head and neck cancer, pancreatic and liver cancer, and pregnancy complications. Gum disease is not only linked to systemic conditions but also leads to deterioration of the supporting bone and tooth structures as well as tooth loss.

Our team at Aqua Dental Wellness says Thank You for helping us stay safe! We look forward to seeing you at your next dental visit!
